We are now offering Math tutoring!

We use the RightStart Math program as well as other visual and kinesthetic techniques. This unique program uses visualization of quantities, de-emphasizes counting, and provides strategies for learning the facts. Math needs to be taught so 95% is understood and only 5% memorized. When you can clearly understand math concepts, you don't have to use space in your working memory.

Our math tutoring is a one-on-one, in-person program designed to meet the client where they are and move at the client’s pace. Because it is one-on-one, we are able to go as slowly or quickly as necessary for each individual student. No one slips through the cracks.

Both grade-based (ex. needs help in 2nd grade math), and skills based (ex. struggling with fractions) tutoring is available.

This math program is good for anyone struggling in math, not just those with Dyslexia. You do not need a full assessment to begin math tutoring with us. You need only to schedule an intake. During this appointment our clinician will also administer a placement test at no additional cost.
